♕ Make Up Look ~ Sunset Eyes ♕

Today's look features a pretty classic inspiration - sunset! I think everyone, sooner or later, does at least one sunset inspired look during their life. Which is pretty understandable - I mean, sunsets/sunrises are gorgeous, with all their beautiful shades and vibes.
I'm sure I've done at least one sunset inspired look in the past - but this one is different in many ways: first of all, is almost completely matte (gasp!) and features a graphic liner on both lids.

Almost all the shadows I used are by NABLA Cosmetics - except for one, which is by Makeup Geek Cosmetics. The liner is Trooper by Kat Von D, I can't even express how much I love this eyeliner *_* I really like the contrast of the soft blending with the neat lines, and also the contrast of the matte shades with the pinch of glitters on the inner corner!

After priming my lids I started off by applying a black eyepencil close to the upper lashline as a base. I carefully smudged it, then I applied Blue Velvet* eyeshadow by NABLA over it; I stopped right before the crease area, where I applied Eresia* - starting to create that sunset effect. I applied, right into the crease, a mixture of two eyeshadows: Fahrenheit by NABLA (a dark red) and Fashion Addict by Makeup Geek Cosmetics (a bright fuchsia); I didn't apply these two shades on their own because the fist one was a little too dark, and the latter too bright, so I just mixed them. Then I used Caramel to complete the gradient, and Peach Velvet as transition shade. Needless to say, each time I added a shade I made sure I blended it with the previous one, in order to achieve a smooth gradient and avoid streaks.
I followed the exact same steps on the lower lid, black base included; when I was done I added some black eyeshadow on the lower lashline to define it, and Antique White on my brow bone.

I usually apply glitters after the eyeliner, but this time I had to invert the order since I was going to do a graphic line that would touch the inner corner too - where I knew I wanted glitters. I chose a delicate shade of light blue from my inner corner, I used Twinkle pressed glitters by GlitterTubes. At this point I was ready for the eyeliner: as I said I used the Tattoo Liner in Trooper by Kat Von D Beauty. First of all I drew the basic winged line, then I added the upper curved line that follows the crease shape, makes a thin wing and goes back inwards. I replicated this same patter on the lower lid, on the inner corner area: first I drew the curved line and then I added the wing. It was slightly trickier here because of the fine lines I have.
Lastly, I completed the look by adding false lashes and applying a black eyepencil on my waterline, and mascara.
